Here, you have arrived at La Garance, an old Provencal farmhouse transformed into a very cozy hotel with a B&B attitude, in 1992. Joan Beaumont and her staff will host your visit with genuine pleasure, happy to help you with anything: recommendations, advice, insider info ... everything you need for a most successful stay suiting your desiderata and the season's choices.
Once settled into one of the 17 simple but comfortable rooms (new bedding) equipped with the latest technology (free WIFI, flat-screen TV), you can explore the shop near the reception desk with its delicious local products – mainly organic – part of a choice selection.
Explore the fragrant Mediterranean garden and relax by the refreshing pool, under the shade of the oleander, enjoy a drink facing sun-bathed Mont Ventoux. In the morning, breakfast is served on the east-facing terrace, in the glory of the rising sun. You’ll especially love the locally-made jams and seasonal fruits from nearby growers. Your hosts have chosen to preserve and share with you the local heritage and bio-diversity of Provencal environs by working along sustainable tourism lines – and have been awarded the "Clef Verte" label for their efforts. In a hamlet at the foot of the Ventoux, an old Provencal farmhouse transformed into a charming hotel welcomes nature and authenticity lovers. With just 17 rooms, the atmosphere is warm and friendly. Breakfast is made with local produce, mostly organically grown. In summer, it's served on the terrace, surrounded by aromatic plants.
Located on the famous road leading to the summit of the Ventoux, cyclists can take up the challenge of climbing it. A secure bike room, pumps and small repair equipment are available. The less adventurous can take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool or contemplate the exceptional panorama of the famous Géant de Provence from the banks of the mountain.
